DEMO Build 1.23d - Bug fixes

Demo Build 1 was specifically used as a submission for the JTAGames jam so that specific build will not be updated but still remain playable until after the jam ends for evaluation purposes. However, the game will continue to be updated with bug fix updates and minor additions with the new build (which you can download below Demo Build 1) until the next publishable demo!

If you have any suggestions to the game including any bug reports or if you encounter issues when playing the game, please let us know through a comment anywhere in the game and we'll be more than happy to fix them as soon as I can!

WHAT CHANGES WERE IN THESE UPDATES?

[1.1]

  • Fixed an issue where the camera is enabled from the start of the game, including all of the photo areas - even before acquiring the camera.
  • Fixed an issue where the Ending scene is already enabled from the start of the game.
  • Disabled the polaroid at the start of the game that triggers the Ending monologue.

[1.21]

  • Fixed issues in the Ending monologue where the voice monologue doesn't play.
  • Fixes issues where Luke doesn't show up playing the Piano in the Ending monologue.

[1.22]

  • Fixed an issue where toggling the Piano Event causes the door in the Left side to toggle immediately, sometimes locking the player inside.
  • Added some Notifications for some other Events to make finding rooms a little easier for people who aren't familiar of the map yet.
  • Lowered the volume of the Piano in the Ending monologue cutscene to prevent it from overlapping too much with the monologue.
  • Fixed the issue where the game would not quit after the Ending monologue is done.

[1.23]

  • Disabled player movement when the Intro cutscene is playing.
  • Enabled the Display and Resolution Settings into the game itself, by pressing ESC to open.
  • Changed most of the paintings in-game with newer versions to match the color palettes better.

It was a really fun month to work on this project and we hope to expand on this as time passes, we'll try our best to polish up the game after the jam to make it an actual project instead of just a jam entry. I'll try to update this project as often as I can whenever there is progress worth noting until we reach the final build of the game with features polished out and the overall experience as well as story progression finalized!

If you've played the demo build, my partner and I really appreciates that you've taken the time to try the game! As our thank you, here's a clear wallpaper shot of the New Year shot which was used for the banner of the game!
